Future an international media group and leading digital business, is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team. Working as part of the Management Accounts team, youll prepare the monthly accounts of our UK, US and Australian businesses. Youll primarily focus on monthly journal posting and close processes, balance sheet reconciliations and ad-hoc projects, to regular deadlines and schedules. Working closely with the Commercial Finance team, youll help investigate any financial or reporting queries that arise. Youll be in regular contact with other teams in finance and departments across our UK, US and Australian offices, ensuring a smooth flow of financial information during the month-end close process. In addition youll have the opportunity to assist in the preparation of half-year and year-end reporting packs and also various national and international statutory and sales tax returns. Youll have a desire to work towards a CIMA qualification and have a passion for continuing your professional development. Commercially focussed with excellent technical and numerical ability, youll have a high attention to detail and be able to work well to tight deadlines using your own initiative. It is essential that you have excellent verbal communication skills and the confidence to interact with people across the wider business to resolve accounting queries, as well as explain financial concepts to non-financial managers.
