New Job Assistant Management Accountant - TF/D11287 Industry: Accountancy Job Type: Permanent Location: Coventry, England Salary: £18000 - £24000 per annum Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a well established business within the Retail sector for the position of Assistant Management Accountant. Duties will include: Running monthly reports; assisting with the production of management accounts; reviewing all queries received to ensure they are investigated fully; develop and maintain financial controls within the Kerridge Financial system to ensure disciplines are adhered to; supporting the Financial Reporting Manager in improvement of the internal controls and process; ensure adherence to reporting requirements and deadlines set by the Group on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis; Support the Chief Accountant in all matters relating to the preparation, provision and resolution of queries relating to the statutory audit of the companys financial records; there is the potential to pick up a small number of cost lines in the P&L account for all Business Units served by the SSC, subject to workload; ad-hoc reports and analysis as required. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of a distribution, multi-location business although this is not essential; good organisation skills and the ability to manage the flow of data effectively; IT / PC literate essential, particularly Microsoft Excel & Office; the Ability to communicate comfortably with all levels of staff & management in the company and build relationships with non-financial people; high personal standards towards delivery of information to the highest standards of quality.
