The IT Team is around 10 people, working on competitive applications to serve better the end-customers. They work on a SCRUM / Agile approach and are in contact with many business departments and teams. As a Business Analyst, your role will be to support the business needs and prepare the future by modernizing its applications landscape! Your daily responsibilities: Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the true underlying needs. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements. Utilize your experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required. Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers and Product Owners. Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the scrum team through which requirements flow. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Experience & Skills Required: You have a proven track record in business analysis and/or business process management in property & casualty (P&C) insurance, gained either within an insurance company, or gained in a consultancy environment. Ideally, you have experience working in a scrum/agile way. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Strong team spirit. Proactivity and enthusiasm. Common sense, pragmatism.
