Do you have experience in business development? The Business Development Executive provides Event, Business Development and Marketing support across all practise areas in the London office. (M&A/Private Equity, Private Funds, Banking & Finance, Restructuring, Dispute Resolution and Transaction Specialists).The role will involve liaison with Partners and other Fee Earners, as well as working with the other support areas in the London office and global BD team. Duties; *Assisting and creating pitches working towards very tight deadlines. *Preparation of client research packs, independently as well as working with in information centre. *Identifying sales opportunities. *Assisting with writing and preparing practice award and legal directory submissions. *Help identify key events for the office and practise areas to raise the companies profile. *Working with third-party events providers as and when needed. *Managing the events process from conception to delivery. *Measuring the effectiveness of events. The Ideal Candidate; *Previous experience within BD/marketing in a professional services environment, preferably in the legal sector. *Conscientious, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. *Hands-on attitude. *Creative, commercial and solutions driven. *Good teamwork skills (must have the ability to work with people on all levels). *Advanced Powerpoint skills, as well as proficiency in Excel and Word. *Self-motivated, with the ability to juggle a number of deadlines.
