They are currently looking for an experienced Customer Service Team Manager with previous call centre/office based experience. My client are an international service provider with a number of offices situated across the world. The Role: Managing a small to medium sized team, the Customer Service Team Manager is expected to: Be responsible for their team at all times, ensuring that they are working to the best of their abilities, and that they are consistently reaching their performances targets Manage and coach their team via performance reviews and regular 1-1s Complete the team rotas and ensure effective staffing at peak times Act as the main point of contact for complaint escalations, look for an effective resolution, and make appropriate decisions where applicable Deputise for the department manager during holidays and absence Maintain and build internal and external business relationships Get involved in team recruitment and training sessions The Ideal Candidate: My clients ideal candidate would be someone with strong team management experience from either a call centre or office type environment as well as: Strong attention to detail GCSEs A-C grades in English and Maths Good IT Skills Organised and thorough with a passion for people management My client are looking to interview at the beginning of January, with a view of the successful individual starting as soon as possible afterwards, so little or no notice period would also be ideal!!
