Supporting the design and estimation of technical solutions you will produce products through software development or configuration, including testing of technical solutions. Key responsibilities · Support Lead Developer to produce technical design and estimate for a solution · Consult with colleagues or clients with a view to writing or modifying current systems · Writing and testing code · Evaluating and implementing ways to incorporate existing or new technologies · Observing, testing, diagnosing and fixing faults in the software · Evaluate and analyse incidents, problems and requests · Evaluate and analyse system changes · Working with other IT specialists both internally and externally · Produce written requirements and technical specification documents · To coach and mentor team members, assign and review their work Experience and qualifications · Demonstrable Software Development experience · Knowledge of SharePoint architecture, object model and design · Ability to produce accurate estimates for coding and testing effort required to produce a particular technical solution · Ability to write detailed requirements and technical specification documents · Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines · In-depth knowledge of .Net Framework and related technologies · Knowledge of database architecture and design Technical skills Good working knowledge of: · SharePoint 2007 development & object model · Complex custom web part development · Publishing and team sites · C#.NET 2/3.5/4 · SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 (SQL, T-SQL, SSIS, Stored Procedures etc.) · HTML / CSS · Javascript · XML · AJAX, jQuery · SOAP/Web Services · WCF Services Knowledge would be an added benefit: · Other versions of SharePoint · SQL Server Reporting Services Designer/Developer SharePoint, .NET, C#, SQL, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Jquery, SOAP.
