New Job Distribution Manager - Thetford - 893624 Industry: Automotive Job Type: Permanent Location: Thetford, England Salary: £37000 per annum Distribution Manager - Thetford - 37k RH Recruiting are currently working in partnership with our clients in the recruiting of a Distribution Manager to be based in Thetford Key Duties: Assist with Distribution Centre Operational Plans - establish and review Distribution plans, responsibility Budgets and KPIs/Performance Targets Financial control within budgetary remit - contribution to distribution and operational efficiency Distribution Cost Budgets Staff Recruitment/Retention - recruit, train and develop direct reports Staff Training & Development Plans - establish/ implement Distribution centre succession plan Health & Safety and Legal obligations - adherence to Company policies and procedures & ensure Group H&S policy is implemented and adhere to Increase Driver awareness to reduce accidents Customer Service Specified Project Management Communication Cascade (two- way) Distribution Centre Security Distribution & Operational Strategy in the line with Distribution Centre goals Management of Distribution assets Stock integrity Compliance with current Transport Legislation Ideal Candidate: 2 years Management experience within a distribution operation and a full understanding of current commercial vehicle legislation Man management, commercial, analytical and communication skills. Educated to HND/Degree level and/or 5 years experience desirable PC and Systems literate O Licence holder (CPC) and LGV Licence also desirable
