The role will be involved in improving and maintaining availability of all food product ranges across the district, divisions and the estate of stores as a whole. You will be making recommendations to drive sales within each area to maximise revenue and respond to local/national events as well as changes to trading patterns to effectively influence future demands. The ideal candidate will have a food retail analytical background although not essential, this would also suit a recent graduate who has advanced excel skills. [ The role ] - Take responsibility for day to day influences on system driven product demand for all on shelf core lines - Produce reports and recommendations to enable the Core Availability Manager to make demand and influence decisions - Conduct analysis of sales events making observations and recommendations for improvement and design reports to monitor and challenge ensuring continuous business improvement - Field and respond to store queries regarding system driven product PLs and orders - To provide store support in resolving product queries, liaising with retail administration teams and CRTG buyers - Track historical and forecast associated product and store demand trends in response to national events - Influence core product demand across refit and acquisition stores - Identify trading opportunities & recommend actions to Core Availability Manager - Maintain a close working relationship and share best practice with members of the Promotional Availability Team - Accountable for measuring and reporting performance against Core Availability team KPIs - Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers that they come into contact with [ The role ] - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written - Ability to work on own as well as in a team - Ability to thrive in a changeable environment - Customer focused - Methodical and meticulous with an analytical approach - Ability to work in a pressurised environment - A to C in GCSE English and Maths ideally educated to degree standard - Advanced Excel is a must - Intermediate skills in MS Word, Power point and Outlook If you believe you have the experience and skills I would like to hear from you.
