New Job Goods Inward Clerk / Warehouse Operative - 241711i Industry: Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain Job Type: Permanent Location: Leicester, England Salary: £20000 - £27000 per annum + bens (dep on experience) Goods Inward Clerk / Warehouse Operative Based: Leicester An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Goods Inward Clerk / Warehouse Operative The Role The successful candidate will work closely with Purchasing, Production and the Materials team at the front end of the material flow process alongside a dynamic and enthusiastic team. Key Responsibilities Receipt deliveries Check delivery quantity against delivery note and sign off relevant delivery documents Book In parts in MRP against PO / report discrepancy to Purchasing or discuss them with Suppliers Place parts in relevant warehouse location in the timely manner Monitor deliveries due to come in the next five days Expedite late deliveries if required Place product for inspection when required Review all released jobs on Epicor for shortages and review against planned deliveries on Epicor Kit components for next jobs according to the production schedule Issue kits and jobs to relevant production lines / location + manage shortages / issuing etc. Kanban administration / audits, sending requests, Other tasks related to material accuracy and goods in activities Interrogate Epicor / MRP system when required Actively participate in stock take activities The Company Our client, Guidance Navigation, is a world leader in laser and microwave navigation sensors, designing and manufacturing sophisticated electro-mechanical marine and industrial products.
