New Job Hardware Test & Embedded Soft/Engineer - 17311 Industry: IT Job Type: Permanent Location: Belgium We are currently looking for some Embedded C, C++ Software Engineers to join one of our clients development teams. They are one of Europes leading fabless analog ASIC design service companies, designing and delivering state-of-the-art analog, RF and mixed-signal integrated circuits to customers worldwide. To strengthen their team, Our client is looking for a Hardware (ASIC) Test & Embedded Software Engineer. Job Summary Support the transition of our clients ASICs into production through analysis of test requirements, device characterization and production test development. Develop embedded software for integrated microcontrollers or DSP processors. Support project teams with development of PCBs and test set-ups and performs tests and measurements of integrated circuits. Support customers with the usage of our clients proprietary ICs. Key responsibilities & Tasks 1.Support project teams in the testability aspects of their designs 2.Design hardware and software to test the functionality of ASICs. 3.Develop C, C++ code for embedded microcontrollers and/or embedded DSP processors 4.Maintain the measurement lab infrastructure. 5.Provide technical support to customers to assist in implementing our clients proprietary integrated circuit in the application. 6.Co-ordinate production test development with third party test houses Job Requirements Education/experience: Degree in electrical engineering (microelectronics preferred) Prior experience in test and measurement Mandatory competences Technical: Knowledge of analog and digital electronics including microcontrollers, FPGAs Technical: Accurate in work, soldering skills Software: Windows, MS Office, Python, VHDL, C, C++ Problem solving skills: Able to solve problems and implement practical solutions autonomously.
