New Job Manager Program Management Office - 33405BR Industry: Automotive Job Type: Permanent Location: Mississauga, Canada Job Summary Manages and coordinates the geo-marketing team to ensure appropriate recommendations for long-term dealer network strategy for Nissan and Infiniti divisions. Recommends national and regional strategies related to the establishment of open points, relocations, open point closes, dealer protests, primary market area and PV issues. Executes project management tasks including budgeting, reforecasting reporting, monitoring, tracking of progress with implementation team and supports in approval process.Contributes to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth. Report and track plan implementation and support task force in coordination with key functions (PMO) 2. Ensure consistency with network development strategy and execute geo-marketing 3. Prioritize actions and reforecast of DND Plan actions and budget 4. Prepare dealer approvals meetings a and Steering Committee meetings 5. Review and ensure investment and support approvals in coordination with task force 6. As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative. Job Knowledge and Skill : Prior dealer contact, market representation and project coordination experience strongly preferred. Possesses the desire to work in fast paced team atmosphere. Possesses the ability to be clear, concise and persuasive in written and oral communications. Possesses strong self-management skills and ability to absorb and understand new materials. Ability to work independently. Accounting and financial analysis work experience. Understanding of dealer operations and Business Management systems. Interpersonal Skills: The position requires interaction with internal and external contacts including, Regional Directors, AGMs, IBM and Approval Committee (President, VPs, Directors) and dealers. Interpersonal, communications and effective listening skills are key to this position, focusing on communicating complex information i.e. reviewing various approaches and suggestions in dealer markets with Regional Directors and AGMs. Decision-making/Impact of the Position: The incumbent is responsible for day to day decisions required by the position including release of data, observations and recommendations. Management approval is required for policy on multiple dealership ownership, NCI Active Open Points and letters of Approval to relocate dealership, etc. The incumbent is expected to exercise discretion and good judgment when overseeing Market Representation Goals, with nominal instruction.
