T he hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm, you are only expected to be on site during the core hours 10am - 3pm. THE CLIENT: Our client now requires a Manufacturing Engineer to join their exciting, busy team. THE ROLE: Reporting to and working closely with the Factory Manager you will work on a wide range of projects to ensure the continuing development of our products and processes. Product development projects Providing the link between suggestions for improvement, review, and implementation Ensure safe working practices and assistance with Health, Safety and Environmental systems KEY CRITERIA: You will be involved in a wide range of projects, hence they must be well organised with an aptitude for multi tasking. You must understand and be committed to their responsibilities and work towards agreed targets to ensure continuous improvement. You must be positive, confident, focussed, and comitted to making genuine improvements to ensure that we remain market leaders. Good written and oral communication skills with a working knowledge of AutoCAD and basic office computer systems, including email, word, and excel are essential. You should be able to solve problems using a structured logical approach. The must be prepared to work in a structured manner and record their work step by step to ensure that the logic behind their actions is justified. You must be able to demonstrate knowledge of mechanical engineering, materials, and modern manufacturing principles; this must be supported with academic qualifications.
