New Job Office Manager - AR/OM Industry: Financial Services Job Type: Permanent Location: Paddock Wood, England Salary: £23000 - £27000 per annum + benefits You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth administration of the firm and best resourcing the admin team to ensure business is processed efficiently, effectively and in alignment with the Groups Compliance expectations and requirements. You will report directly to the Principal of the business. Duties will include: Processing of new business Management of existing business Initiating and managing changes in new processes and procedures Managing the admin team, performing staff appraisals and reviews and aiding further recruitment of administrators. Liaising with our IT contractors on any IT computer issues Ensuring compliance logs and returns to Group are completed. The nature of the companys size at present means the candidate will also need to get involved from time to time in day to day preparation for client review meetings, follow up work to new client meetings, suitability reports, valuations and other associated tasks. The role will also involve some meeting and greeting of clients, telephone client interaction and creating a good first impression. The role requires someone with: *Good communication skills and telephone manner *A strong confident manner *A proven track record *Previous experience of Intelligent Office, Defaqto and Assureweb is important *Familiarity of Old Mutual Wealths Platform, Standard Life Wrap, Transact and 7IM would be very useful *Good computer literate skills in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook *Strong report writing skills *The ability to keep up to date with new products, technical or legislation changes in the industry Due to the rural location of the client you must be a car driver.
