New Job PHP Developer - SL47361 Industry: IT Job Type: Contract Location: Crewe, England Salary: £300 per day We have an urgent requirement for a PHP developer to join the Digital team within a rapidly growing organisation in Crewe. The work will be focused on portal development and internal applications that are used to manage customer data for many leading UK organisations. The scope of the PHP Developer role is broad and includes integration to a wide range of back end systems: Essential Experience for the PHP Developer role: - Experience in web application development using PHP, MySQL and Apache - Experience of using PHP frameworks e.g. Laravel, Lithium - Experience of object oriented programming / modular programming - Understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks - Experience of unit testing e.g. PHPUnit - Good working knowledge of front-end development using HTML5 , CSS and JavaScript/JQuery - Understanding of version control techniques (Git, Subversion, Sourcesafe) - Excellent written and verbal communication - Full lifecycle experience Desirable Experience for the PHP Developer role: - Experience of mobile app development - Experience of Java development - Experience in Magento development - Web services. The daily rate for the PHP Developer is circa £300 per day with some flex for the right individual. to be considered for this role you must be able to commence work within 2 weeks. The PHP developer role would suit a contractor who is looking for something different from the usual agency work and would like to work on commercial applications. The PHP Developer role is based in Crewe and is easily commutable from Liverpool, Chester, Manchester, Warrington and Stoke-on-Trent.
