New #Job Posted > Quantity Surveyor Required Based at our Head office in London and reporting to the Directors you will be responsible for managing client accounts for projects across London and the South East, identifying opportunities offering best value to the customer, maximize profitability and limit commercial risk exposure. Responsibilities Attending pre-start meetings to negotiate and agree contractual terms. Prepare newly secured projects for valuation purposes utilising The Boss System and Strike software. Process timesheets and carry out job cost analysis, reporting on labour spend, productivity and direct costs against budgets. Prepare and submit accurate, detailed and timely applications for payment, valuation of contract variations and compensation events. Assist the Directors in the collection of payments in accordance with sub-contract terms including the resolution of any disputed charges Prepare, submit and agree final accounts. Maintain and develop client relationships to secure further work opportunities. Qualifications / skills The ideal candidate will possess or be working towards a degree in Quantity Surveying or similar construction related qualification. Excellent attention to detail, with sound numeracy, literacy and IT skills.
