New Job Probation Officer - Lancashire (North West) - JP0266 Industry: Public Sector and Government Job Type: Temporary Location: Blackburn, England Salary: £23 - £24 per hour + Ltd. One of our clients based in Lancashire is currently looking for 2 Probation Officers to join their busy team. The successful candidate will be a Qualified Probation Officer/Social Worker and will have experience of working within a Probation/Criminal Justice setting. Applicants must hold a Diploma in Probation Studies or a Qualification in Social Work. It is essential that applicants are familiar with OASys and N Delius The roles are for Offender Managers, this role will initially be on a temporary basis with the option to go permanent in the future, they are full time posts and you must be able to work at least 4 days (preferably 5). It is a role with the CRC so the caseload will be made up of low/medium risk offenders, with certain cases involving child protection and instances of domestic violence. Your Duties will Include; - Managing a caseload of up to 43 offenders - Interviewing and Assessing the risk of all clients. - Carrying out risk assessments in order to protect the public. - Delivering specialist programmes to change offenders attitudes and behaviour. - Helping to reduce further offending.
