New Job Project Engineer - 893882 Industry: Engineering Job Type: Permanent Location: Doncaster, England Salary: £25000 - £35000 per annum Project Engineer : Doncaster European role based primarily in the UK and Czech Republic. £25,000-£35,000 per annum plus overtime RH Recruiting are working in partnership with our Doncaster based client to recruit a Project Engineer. The role will entail travel across to their site in the Czech Republic This is an exciting new opportunity for a driven, customer focused Project Engineer to join their Business in the newly re-structured Technical Department to ensure optimum Project delivery through effective design and management. As well as the adoption of LEAN tools and techniques to ensure any end solution is the right long term business solution. Working closely with the Sales and Production teams, the successful candidate will provide an essential technical backbone to the sales process, providing technical support regarding manufacturing requirements such as product and process development and project costing acting as a conduit between sales and production. From low-key improvement programs to full scale new product development and implementation, you will be responsible for project management and planning both in their UK and European operations. Taking responsibility for the activities incorporated by the project plans, you will ensure that projects are completed to agreed timescales and quality standards, as well as compiling and presenting data with conclusions and recommendations on how to drive achievement of business objectives. This is an instrumental role in the organisation and coordination of activities and resources, with a high level of customer interface. You will primarily be responsible for: Managing multiple projects from small improvement initiatives to multimillion pound launches. Creating project Plans and teams. Managing project delivery. Controlling project budgets. Developing communication plans and collecting and presenting data at all levels of the organisation. Project development across the European business. Hands on development of processes and needs to be comfortable with an element of this role being hands on completing testing and optimisation processes The successful candidate will have: HND/ Degree (or Equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline. Good English and Mathematical skills. Working knowledge of IT systems and software packages such as office and projects. Be able to demonstrate hands-on experience of operational skills such as processing, mould installation, mechanical and electrical installation. Leadership and budgetary management experience. Desirable Skills: Proven track record in the field of plastics injection and moulding and experience in a high cavitation, fast cycling production environment. An understanding of automation and control systems, along with design skills would be beneficial. Knowledge of mould manufacturing and design. Working knowledge of CAD. The ideal candidate will be a strong and effective communicator and be able to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast paced, dynamic and varied development and production environment, whilst maintaining company health, safety and quality standards. The individual must want to be developed and be comfortable in sharing, giving and receiving information, instruction and training.
