This is to be done by ensuring consistently high quality deliveries to our customers and conformance to company procedures and policies. PLEASE NOTE - To apply for this position you MUST have Quality Control Experience (including Goods Inwards) and an electronics background. Responsibilities: Quality *Company-wide Quality Assurance *Auditing support for ISO/AS9100 *Non Conformance Reports with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions *COSHH control *Calibration and control of tools *Populate and update ODIN database *Filing and Admin as required Goods Inwards and Kitting * To own the goods inwards and kitting area * Full support to the engineering and manufacturing teams * Goods Inwards inspection * Kitting * Stock Control * Purchasing expedition as required Final inspection and delivery *Mechanical inspection *Electrical inspection *PCB inspection *Controlled paperwork *Deliveries/ shipping of goods Skills and experience required: *Good Understanding of engineering drawings *Background in electronics assembly, rework and soldering *Disciplined in ESD protection and methods *Familiarity with quality disciplines *Good written and oral communication skills *Quality auditing experience Skills and experience that would be very useful: *AS9100 familiarity *Experience of a safety critical industry such as Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Medical or Energy *IPC610 / IPC620 certification The usual hours of work will be 39 hours per week, utilizing a flexi system as follows: Monday - Thursday :Start time 8am - 9am, finish time 5pm - 6pm with half an hour lunch break. Friday: Start time 8am - 9am, finish time 1pm - 2pm with no lunch break. The salary for this position is up to £20,000 per annum depending on experience.
