Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working alongside a diverse team of Engineers, your responsibility will be to drive the optimisation of assets in order to maximise potential and eliminate waste. You will be responsible for analysing the asset performance and making decisions for improvements based on your findings and knowledge, alongside managing the day to day issues which could affect your plant area and asset performance. You will be Degree qualified with substantial mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment. You will have experience of working on mechanical systems related to water cooling systems, gas systems, pneumatics, conveyors and rollers, and ideally automated processes alongside experience of working within regulations such as DESAR, PUWER, LOLER and other regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance. You will be able to demonstrate where you have created improvements in systems, plant and safety in your previous roles. Ideally you will have worked with Lean practices and be able to apply them to your new areas of responsibility. You will have substantial practical experience of project delivery and will be able to demonstrate good communication practise within the project framework. Interested?
