Nissan is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill an opening for a S enior Analyst Business Strategy at our Mississauga automotive Corporate Headquarters. POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Analyst Business Strategy is responsible for the management and preparation of all TIV and market segment forecasts, as well as monthly executive sales analysis reports; management of the preparation of product life-cycle expense plans in conjunction with Product Planning and Marketing and also managing the preparation and reporting on the mid-term sales and expense plans. The position also manages the compliance of NCI with Canadian GHG emission regulations in conjunction with NNA and NML related departments and is responsible for providing economic analysis and economic insights to NCI management in order to assist in decision-making at the corporate and program levels. The position will provide insight, direction and analytical support for strategic planning to ensure continuous profitable growth. POSITION FUNCTIONS 1. Managing Sales Forecasting and Sales Planning Support - 20% * Manages preparation of TIV and Segment forecasts and related processes. * Future product information, updated quarterly. * Maintain industry sales database (actual and forecast) for AIAMC, JD Power, Global Insight and Polk. * Works closely with Sales Planning and Product Planning 2. Responsible for preparing Monthly Executive Reporting - 10% * Manages reports to President for OC-NA and OC/MC-NCI. * Ad hoc reports and analysis for executives. 3. Product Life Cycle Expense Plan Management - 35% * Prepare detailed long term carflows and C&I Plans to support Life Cycle Plans as well as Mid Term Plans. * Prepare Life Cycle Plans for new products and existing products. * Prepare analysis and presentations for responses to PD / PMO. * Works closely with Product Planning, PMO and PD groups. * Supports contract finalization with PDs. 4. Support Mid-Term Plan Financial Simulation - 30% * Macro economic study, TIV and segmentation forecast (multiple sources, by model). * Manage and maintain mid-term plan carflow. * Retail forecast using multiple approaches. * Share volume assumptions and carflow with NCI, NCF and P&A. * Manage NCI corporate response to NNA and NML. * Develop and maintain mid-term plan financial simulation model and expand its horizon from (T-1 to T+3) to (T-4 to T+4). * Works closely with Distribution, C&I, Marketing, Product Planning, Finance and NNA CPLAN 5. Managing GHG Emission Compliance - 5% * Manages forecasts and recommendations to ensure NCI compliance with GHG emission targets * Manages the analysis of trim/powertrain mix of current/future Nissan and Infiniti product portfolios * Works in conjunction with NNA and NML MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS · University degree in: Business/Finance, Math/Statistics or related disciplines · Minimum 5 years experience in: Sales Analysis, Financial Modelling, Business / Product Planning or Program Management · Familiarity & Understanding of the Canadian Automotive Market is desired (models, segments, Volumes etc.) · Working knowledge of: Oracle database queries, mTab queries, Polk database · Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access etc.) with keen understanding of: Excel functions (Vlookup, Pivot tables, tracing spreadsheet links and other Excel macros etc.) Think youve got the internal drive to make great vehicles and join a winning team?
