This role will be responsible for all Technical documentation for a fast paced food manufacturing site, including specifications. If you are detail-orientated and have a proven track record of working with retailer specifications systems this could be the role for you… This is a permanent role working full time Monday to Friday. Excellent salary and benefits on offer. As a Specifications Technologist you will be the technical expert for customers and suppliers for ensuring legal, safety and quality standards are maintained. Role: Technical Administration - management of all technical documents on site including QMS, Legislation, Specifications, Non Conformance Logs, Micro results, HACCP, Technical reports, and complaints. Communicate technical support to customers, including support on customer audits Complete online retailer specifications; e.g. Sainsbury Inspire or similar Request technical and specification information from suppliers - including raw materials and packaging and ensure any problems are identified and actioned Conduct QMS audits Ensure any changes with launches, promotions or delists are implemented while not disrupting production / operations Maintain departmental information trackers To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate previous customer specifications experience and fluency in utilising online retailer specification systems. You will be able to work well within a fast paced, ever changing production environment and be an excellent communicator. Experience of audits, and pest control also desired.
