New Job Supply Chain Account Manager - MR/B/001 Industry: Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain Job Type: Permanent Location: Warwick, England Salary: £25000 - £30000 per annum SUPPLY CHAIN ACCOUNT MANAGER REQUIRED FOR AN IMMEDIATE START!! BASED IN WARWICK £25,000 - £30,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE - PERMANENT My client is a well known national organisation and are now looking to recruit a Supply Chain Account Manager on a permanent basis. The role will manage the supply and demand of supplier products ensuring that stock is available and that stock levels are maintained, also the successful candidate will be maintaining and managing supplier/customer relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an Account Manager from a supply chain background that has dealt with a numerous SKUs. [ The role ] - Manage, develop and measure a group of suppliers and related product range to ensure they meet the requirements of the supply chain in terms of delivery, lead times and product availability - Manage the forecasting and planning systems for the product range through data management and exception reports throughout the product life cycle. - Achieve targets for product availability, stock value and stock turn for products managed within supplier and product portfolio - Understand customer systems and processes through visits and regular reviews in order to propose enhancements to improve efficiency, service and cost - Utilise existing statistical forecasts together with additional market intelligence to ensure that product supply reflects internal and external customer requirements - Proactively reduce supplier late deliveries in regard to improving customer experience - Monitor order for unanticipated demand which may result in stock or availability issues - Work collaboratively with Project Managers to ensure that the business supports the requirements of new product introduction process to ensure that availability of spare parts is maximised - Deputise as necessary for other Supply Chain Account Managers and the Supply Chain Managers - Frequent and periodic updates for business required objectives - Contribute to an environment for continuous improvement of performance and processes within the Supply Chain Team - Assist in development and active management of supply chain dashboards to ensure the supply chain delivers business & customer requirements [ Person and skills required ] - Inventory management experience in a high SKU, complex environment - Full understanding of ERP systems - PC literate (medium/high) with a good working knowledge of MS applications - Highly literate and numerate - Record of working with and developing suppliers - Record of dealing with internal and external customers - Inventory management system and concepts knowledge - Pro-active approach and preventative engagement - An analytical mind is essential This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, if you feel that you have the experience and skills needed for this role please apply ASAP for a quick response.
