New Job Threat Monitoring Lead - LT/THREAT/7oaks Industry: IT Job Type: Permanent Location: Sevenoaks, England Salary: £35000 - £45000 per annum + + bonus + benefits Threat Monitoring Lead - Sevenoaks I am currently working with a global consulting organisation who are looking for a Threat Monitoring Lead to join and manage their SOC team in Sevenoaks. The role will be heavily focused on Threat Monitoring and Intrusion Detection covering the implementation of IPS solutions, in life support, platform upgrades, incident diagnosis and handling across multiple industry sectors for a range of end clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing the end to end Threat Monitoring service (delivery, configuration, installs etc.). - Providing support to the global Threat Monitoring infrastructure (IDS, IPS, Counterpane, envision etc.). - Managing a team of Threat Analysts as well as the shift team. - 2nd and 3rd line incident diagnosis and resolution. - Managing the deployment, testing and maintenance of various and appropriate hardware and software. - Managing client relationships. - Implementing IT Security policies and processes. - Ensuring the service provided meets agreed SLAs. - Providing on call support when required. Potential candidates will have: - A minimum of a years experience in Threat Monitoring, Intrusion Detection or Network Security. - Experience with any of the following technologies; IBM, Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint, IDS, IPS. - A strong problem solving mindset, strong problem diagnosis and management experience. - Experience implementing or supporting IPS solutions. - Strong leadership skills, you will be a hands on manager. - Strong customer facing skills. - The ability to gain Security Clearance.
