New Job UK - Transaction Services (IT) - Manager / Assistant Director - MCL/196461 Industry: Consultancy Job Type: Permanent Location: London, England Salary: £60000 - £110000 per annum + bonus + car + pension + healthcare Consulting Point are currently recruiting for a leading global management consultancy within their transaction services team. Client Responsibilities: * Ability to sell, lead and deliver large, complex IT Due-diligence, IT carve-outs, post-merger integration and corporate restructuring * Managing and delivering complex IT Programmes supporting clients through post merger integration and separation/carve-outs * Addressing very complex technical points with senior client staff and managing key client relationships and expectations * Drawing on extensive knowledge and experience across all aspects of IT in business, provides insightful, deal-relevant points of view and recommendations based on robust analysis * Delivery and review of high-quality, risk-managed reports and other work products in various formats * Managing the development and delivery of technical proposals, attending sales meetings and delivering sales presentations * Frequently interface with senior external client stakeholders (example, C-Suite or equivalent) and internal stakeholders (example, Partners/Directors) * Active role in the identification of opportunities by farming existing relationships and growing new networks * Leading role in conversion of opportunities to wins through involvement in sales proposal/pitch process * Lead and manage internal practice development effort including development of tools, accelerators, methodologies and market propositions * Take ownership for Quality and Risk Management (Q&RM) through out client engagements, determining that all client work is delivered consistently complying with the companies Q&RM guidelines People Responsibilities: * Take responsibility for areas of internal team management (example, People and Operations: Supporting the leadership in developing. building and running the team and the practice) and act as a role model for the team * Involvement in the counselling and recruitment process as required Qualifications/skills youll need as an Assistant Director: Exposure to all if not most of the following: * Extensive experience of corporate transactions, ideally in performing of IT Due Diligence and/or IT post merger integration, separation/carve-out assignments * Senior IT management experience (within an organisations IT department or on the IT supplier side) * Extensive experience of IT advisory and consulting within a professional services environment The following should be considered as must have attributes: * Ability to provide deep insights on IT aspects of transaction deals that are relevant and valued by clients and readers of the IT Due Diligence reports * Very deep knowledge and experience in one or more core aspects of a typical IT environment - for example, specialism in Application or Infrastructure Architecture, Systems Integration, Application Development, IT Financials, IT Strategy and Governance, dynamics of an IT function * Strong writing skills and experience of producing high calibre reports, papers, presentations and thought leadership * Business development skills with demonstrable sales track record * Programme management experience and track record of successful delivery of large, complex programmes * Experience of IT outsourcing, vendor management and IT procurement * Very deep knowledge in one or more industry sectors * Business administration or accounting knowledge (example MBA or CA or CIMA) * Experience in business development, from opportunity identification to conversion into sales * Prior Transaction experience * The ability to travel and work freely across the EU Additional skills requirements: * Flexible with working locations, the ability to learn quickly and leverage skills in new situations * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong presentation and facilitation skills * Experience in coaching, mentoring or counselling colleagues If you wish to apply for these roles, please email the following to [email protected]: 1.
