New Law Requires Healthy Food and Drinks in all Vending Machines on State Property. Law requires: One-third of all beverages be either water, milk, 100-percent juice or a low-calorie sports drink. Another one-third must be flavored milk, 50-percent juice, a low-calorie soft drinks.The last one-third can be full-calorie soft drinks. Also... At least 35 percent of all food in Vending Machines must follow established nutritional guidelines limiting fat, saturated fat and sugar content. Thoughts?
