New Mexico Cyclocross goes to Cross Nationals, Austin TX. Where the NM Cyclocross Series comes together as one! A huge thank you to our mechanics this year Randy Silva (Hawks Tri-Cycle), George Tapley (Independent) and Doug Torres (High Desert Bicycles). Their aim (to the best of their capability) to avoid anyone being in a position that they cannot race due to mechanical issues. They will be limited with tools and supplies so here are some requests... 1) It is imperative that you have your bike in working order BEFORE you arrive. 2) Please BRING with you parts that are specific to your bike model; derailleur hanger, bike chain, tubes and brake pads 3) They have offered to be in the pit so your family, friends and coaches can run around after you on the course. PLEASE let us know if you would like pit assistance so we can try a schedule, a lot of races have multiple athletes in them. 4) We will bring trainers, tool box (please ask permission to use tools, mechanics will be available to mechanic though), repair stands, coffee, water, and a place to change and store your belongings. 5) Please bring you bike CLEAN to the mechanics for repairs and maintenance 6) If you have an issue with your bike after a race or warm up please do not wait until the last hour before your next race to let a mechanic know.
