New Moon May 23rd, 3:00pm - 5:00pm Co hostessed by Rev.Shelley St. John and Alicia Merlady Theme embodying your favorite Goddess. Come dressed as your Goddess. Bring a favorite rattle or drum to play. Finger foods to share after. Women praying and playing together can inspire and transform their lives and the communities in which they live. By honoring and becoming aware of the moon cycles, we remember a natural way of being in tune with the earth. This is one way that women can empower ourselves and each other through a link of like minded sisters. We will sing songs, call in the directions, light candles and weave our circle together as suggested in Alicias book, Womens New Moon Guide, based on 25 years of gathering on the new moon from the Ashland, Oregon new moon circle. We will share the tradition of the Goddess we represent, meditate with her and share with each other the pearl of wisdom She brings to the circle. We hope to inspire a group of women who will seed a monthly new moon gathering exploring various themes each month.
