New Officers sworn in. The Waterford Police Department brought two new Officers on to the department today. These pictures show Officer Alexander Tran and Officer Troy Gelinas being sworn in at the Town of Waterford Clerks office. Officer Tran has transferred to the Waterford Police Department from the Mashantucket Tribal Police Department, where he served for two years. Officer Gelinas transferred from the Mohegan Tribal Police Department, where he served for one year. Prior to that, Officer Gelinas was a Connecticut State Trooper for twenty years, attaining the rank of Sergeant. Please welcome these fine Officers to the Waterford Police Department. Good luck Officers, were sure youll serve our community with honor.
