Machine/Building Maintenance Principal Duties and Accountabilities (Essential Functions) Repair new machinery or equipment as needed, including alterations, renovations, and design of work place installations. Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Required to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram. Must have an in depth knowledge of hand and machine tools and their functions. Be knowledgeable in servicing and wiring of single phase and three phase electrical equipment. Strong background in pneumatic principals and the repair of air operated equipment. Required to set up and service programmable logic control devices. Follows all departmental and plant safety rules and regulations. Required to work any required overtime and any shift.
