New Programme – 3.5 weeks from Competition Time GYM: I started my new three day programme on Monday. I consists of two high volume days and one day that focuses on smaller muscles so the exercises are not as taxing. I will do each of the 3 days once, choosing one of the high volume days to do twice each week. I am to combine this with two days of interval training, one of them being the strong man sessions with the basketball girls. BODY FAT and DIET: Matt took my body fat measurements yesterday and over the past three weeks, my body fat has gone from 12.5% to 11.3% and I have gained over a pound of lean muscle. After 8 days of carb cycling, I really saw a difference in how lean I was so I think that that was the reason for the reduction in body fat. I am going to continue with the carb-cycling for the next week or two and then we will change things up closer to competition time. After the three days of the new programme my body is very sore but as I have said before sore is good Here is a little clip of some of the exercises I was doing this morning with @MattKellypt. Today was the ‘spare parts’ day so we did work on biceps, triceps, obliques and abs. This was my first time doing straight leg hanging leg raises and I have to say I really surprised myself!
