Dist Ratnagiri - 415 712 (MS) Abstract A field experiment was conducted during the fruiting season of 2009-2010 on eight year old cashew trees of V-4 grown on lateritic sandy clay loam and moderately acidic soil at Rukhi Block of water management scheme, C. E. S. Wakavali., Dist. Ratnagiri (M.S) to study the influence of foliar sprays of urea and potassium nitrate on macro and micronutrients content of cashewnut leaves in lateritic soils of konkan. Use of foliar sprays of urea and potassium nitrate showed beneficial effects on nut yield and nutrient content. The maximum and significant nut yield tree-1as well as total N, P and Mg content in cashew leaf were obtained with 3 per cent urea spray (T3) at new vegetative growth, flowering stage and at seed setting stage. While other nutrients like K, Ca and S were shows significant to foliar application of 2 per cent (KNO3), 3 per cent (KNO3) and 2 per urea, respectively.
