New Tribes Mission was started in 1942. Aircraft and pilots have always been part of the ministry to reach the world for Christ. NTM are the missionaries that are often the first contact with a tribe or a village. They break the language barrier. They create a written language. They teach the language to its people. Next they start translation of God word. My mom and dad were with NTM 1948-1950. My dad was a pilot in WWII and for NTM. He was on the DC-3 plane, Tribesmen II that crashed on Mt Moran, November 1950. All 21 aboard perished. Paul Flemming, co-founder of NTM, also died on that day! Mom remained with NTM until I was six. NTM is the real deal. Many mission organizations Have to thank NTM for blazing the trail to further Gods Kingdom. Praise God...
