New Undergraduate Student Diversity Honor Society Forming!! Calling all undergraduate junior and senior students with passion and commitment to diversity, inclusion and social justice issues … This year, the Hedgeman Center is creating an exciting new leadership opportunity for undergraduate students. The purpose of the Hamline University Student Diversity Honor Society is to recognize, create, model, inspire and sustain student engagement and leadership in diversity and inclusion issues in and beyond the Hamline University community. To help us create this new opportunity, we hope to select and invite up to twenty undergraduate students to join us as founding members of the Hamline University Student Diversity Honor Society. We are looking for students who have participated and provided leadership in a variety of diversity issues in a variety of ways, including student organizations, service initiatives, training, advocacy and leadership. Members will also have outstanding academic achievement as indicated by their cumulative and major grade point averages, and their performance in curricular activities. The Application Deadline is Sunday, September 22, 2013.
