New Video! ATTN RESCUES! Had a call yesterday about five five-week old (born on Labor Day so Sept 1 birthdays) puppies whose mama developed mastitis so they were taken from mama at three weeks. . They are what is left of a litter of 11 live births because the people with the mama dog have been giving them away. UGH! Anyway, they arrived at my house this afternoon, full of stinky stinky poo. After I saw the photo that was sent (see comments section,) I couldnt say no. Theyve all had a first bath in just warm water so far but now in much better condition fragrance-wise. I think at least four of them are males, forgot to check the fifth while bathing. Their daddy (now neutered) is a beautiful brindle Rottie/Boxer mix and I mean GORGEOUS! He accompanied his dad to bring his babies to me (dad has been trying to help find a place for the puppies.) Mama is a Lab blend so theyll be larger size when grown though daddy really isnt very big. Theyve received absolutely no vetting, not even wormed, and I know squat about handling puppies so......HELP! Who can take them for vetting and ensure they get altered and into good homes?
