New Years Day is here and new things begin and with that Annette and I would like to introduce something new and exciting for 2015! Recently we have secured the business name with the Indiana secretary of states office for the following business: Indy Farmers Market. Additional we have secured the domain names: Indyfm, and Indyfm.org. Thats right we are going to open a farmers market! This has been a dream and vision of ours for over a year now and we are excited about the direction God is going to take this. Our purpose is very simple: To provide customers with the best possible Indiana grown agricultural products and to give you a direct link to the producers. Youll be amazed at the quality and quantity of products grown right here in Indiana by small family farmers who take great pride and concern in producing the best product for consumers to obtain. We also want to help every Hoosier family understand the value of proper nutrition and wellness of life. Just in this past year Annette has had struggles with her health, and after exhausting doctor visits, blood works, etc we finally found out that her diet was a major factor in her illness. And honestly we thought we were eating healthy! This also allows me to use my agriculture roots and degree and connecting me back to my first vocation. Agriculture has always been in my heart and my involvement with the Indiana FFA, National FFA and 4H gave me a real sense of purpose and direction for my life. We not only intend on bringing a greater awareness to health and fitness via our food system, but a portion of all of our profits will be donated to the Indiana FFA and Indiana 4H. We want to continue to give hope to Hoosier farms and young people that they can pursue their passions, dreams and have a thriving small family business that benefits all Hoosiers in choosing a healthier lifestyle. We want to encourage Indianas youth to follow their dreams! The Indiana FFA and 4H do an excellent job in doing just that. We are working on launching a website in the months to come so that you will be able to shop online and get REAL farm products delivered right to your door. We also are working on retail pick up point here in Greenwood as well. Stay tuned more details to come.
