New Years Eve 2014 @ 12:45pm. Good afternoon everyone. This is the last day of what will be the warmest year on record. The Central England Temperature figures from The Met Office Hadley Centre shows that every month this year apart from August has be running at least 1c above average. Question is will this continue into 2015? Only time will tell. This morning should be the last hard frost for now as milder air moves in from the Atlantic. The pattern for the next week will be like a seesaw affect with milder temperatures for a day or 2 before turning colder for a day or 2 then back to milder conditions. There will be bands of rain moving through heralding these changes. NEW YEARS NIGHT. Some of you might be going out and enjoying the Welcoming of the New Year. Whats the weather going to do for you? Well we have a band of rain moving SouthEast which by midnight should be sitting over parts of Wales through to Northern England. Temperatures will be much milder at midnight then recently with the figures for your area in the pictures below. This maybe the last post of the year. On behalf of The Midlands Storm Chasers team, we like to Thank You for sticking with us throughout 2014. 2015 will be even a Bigger year for us. We hope the coming year will bring us plenty of storms to chase. :-) Michael.
