New Years is always a very conflicting holiday. While there is - TopicsExpress

New Years is always a very conflicting holiday. While there is often much to celebrate, it also marks the end of things and therefore it often evokes sadness. 2014 was another very weird year for me with many great highs as well as many horrible lows, both personally and professionally. I definitely aged way more than one year in 2014. Obviously much of the focus has been on my daughter Grace turning 2 and all that entails as she begins to understand the world around her. Hopefully, thanks to all the hundreds of photos/videos we took of her, I will always remember many wonderful moments involving her from this year. However, think this series of photos will be the moment I remember most fondly and vividly. It is from Halloween night and it shows Grace getting ready and then presenting herself as TinkerBell to her extended family waiting downstairs at her grandparents house. It was not only super cute, but for me it marked both the moment she was no longer a baby as well as provided a shockingly emotional (for me at least) foreshadowing for what it might be like on her wedding day, if I am able to live long enough to see that (and the boys of her generation arent so wussified that they arent completely terrified of her). Anyway, I hope you enjoy those photos as much as I do and thanks for all of your support this year. Happy New Year!
