New York, I fell in love with your river views with its beautiful reflections upon sunrise and sunset, became accustomed to the ease of mass transit, spoiled by the close proximity of multiple disc golf courses, breweries, wineries, and distilleries, and yet, the lure of the great south, my family & friends back home, and the lack of sub zero temperatures has won the battle within this southern gal and has persuaded me to leave your shores and head back south to Georgia. I cherish the friendships I have made here, will never forget the many interesting and delightful people I have met, will forever tell stories of the fantastic experiences I have had here in this historic state, and I can honestly say I regret not a single moment spent here. With a heavy heart, I will be departing New York on 1/22/15 but I hope to see all those who have left their mark on my heart before then. However, I do plan to visit often, possibly monthly as I continue to support the wonderful Peekskill Brewery both as an employee and an avid fan and PB family member, so this is not good-bye but in true southern style, see yall soon!!
