New York bans fracking until it can be proven safe (which is never, of course), but meanwhile in NZ, John Key bends over backwards for his corporate oil and gas buddies... It is foolish and reckless for the NZ government to continue pushing for fossil fuel exploration. The government is ignoring its global obligation to tackle climate change. It’s turning a blind eye to legitimate concerns from kiwis who care about their oceans and marine life.
