New York house dance legend Brian Footwork Green stopped by our page to share a HUGE amount of knowledge, history, insight, edutainment, and commentary regarding house dance in New York and around the world. Many thanks to him for taking the time to collect and share these resources that give further understanding into the roots of this dance culture. Well the questions never seem to end for me in the what is called a needed opinion about the history of house dance and culture. I will say this only for a correction. The first premiere group focused on house was and is WORLD SOUL, and never forget this one: https://m.youtube/watch?v=6SaLc1GDtR8 Started by GOD through me, and in this group started in the early 90s was: Ramon que quezada a.k.a Dj que Domenique Shinya oishi Kunitomo Sako Minako Uchiyama Shannon Selby Jose Figueroa Marjory Smarth Justice Joey Anderson And was growing faster until I cut off the group for reasons I will NEVER EXPLAIN.......but had to put this out there after all these years because people arent understanding fully that Im a dancer that has brought many together but stand alone with the LORD for years. Might I add that even at that time I only had them do two free shows and the paid ones are more than people make today.....sigh While I was in this group I created, I would also work with Raymond Spex Abbiw, Voodoo Ray, Christopher Sawyer, Carlton, Shotyme, Randy Connor, Keith Anthony Lewis, Barbara Tucker, and numerous others in other forms of dance from modern, tap, and other dance disciplines on numerous artists and projects........just wanting to see more dancers and do more dancing. Due to many reasons that universal voice I had ( and GOD gave me) got manipulated ( was young in the clubs), and shut down lightly and I had to work that forward, catch up with it, and its here now again. Doing many styles was never a new thing for me. But doing it in judge demos is as of the last 5 years......and there will be a lot more soon. The world wasnt ready back then and even the clubs ( if people are honest )there were certain minds that werent ready; though most of the club was always there and open.........but in dance jobs ( like today), theres still a separation; slowly and beautifully changing. GOD has me realize from that of a child that HE blocks and opens all understandings, so I cant blame anyone that understands or doesnt. I can only repeat things and wait for GOD to open those HE wants to open. There are documentaries out about house and hip-hop culture focusing on the dancing. There are major ones around the world now and some smaller popular ones; all focused on NY dancers who have went to Asia and then spread out......since late 80s/early 90s. Get them, get a pen, watch them carefully, and see the positives and poisons in them that spread. Its life, but get over it and move on productively without so many questions but focusing on the remedies of the poisons and pushing the positives in full force. Documentaries: Wrecking shop NYC......lol...Honestly never saw the full thing In seriousness ( meaning with a pen and all), but saw it once. Its definitely a stamp in the understanding of some of the popular dancing in hip-hop and house that has spread around the world.....watch closely.....many in there today you all dont see). HOUSE OF TRE ( yes folks, I was actually in and was filmed as a soloist in this one ( you see me in the circles watching)....but its a long story I promised GOD and certain people I WOULD NEVER GET INTO unless certain people step over a boundary; which I know they wont.......as I want all to eat whether they make mistakes or not.....and theyve been working very hard to correct them; which is a joy to see.....yet they still have a long way to go and many to face, but all in all its a stamp in popular dance in hip-hop and house around the world today) CHECK YOUR BODY AT THE DOOR ( the documentary that brings the generations together in house/clubbing under one roof. And of course theres always more people.....its a club culture, there are many people; no one can film all people that was there). There can and will always be more people added as GOD allowed me to have an event for 13 years......thats long, and a lot of info ( every month). But all the basic questions people ask about who was first, who was 2nd and I dont know whose on 3rd should be easy; in concerning the spread of this dancing scene in hip-hop/house ( whether people consider it one culture or not; just dance). Of course I dont have to do this as I can do many styles, but how the much more beautiful is it to open doors for others in so many generations ( whether noted for it or not......must know that it all goes to GOD anyway)........AMAZING! Just look at all the dancing around the world......especially women now from the Waacking!!!! And I must add always that though most who will read this werent around, and no one can be there for all things......but the government in connection with what goes on in the streets ( which is one system), has put a hurting on many in dance and the world that takes people away and then they come back......this brother named Daniel Eof Kelley III a.k.a.
