New ZEALAND is known for many things. Sheep are one them. There are currently around nine sheep to every one human in New Zealand (the population is four million). It is also famous for Sir Edmund Hillary — the first man to reach the peak of Mount Everest. The hugely successful The Lord of the Rings film trilogy was shot in New Zealand.
