New application centres for German visas The German Embassy in South Africa has announced the opening of visa application centres in Centurion, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. The service will be operated by Intergate Visalink. Integrate Visalink will perform a soft-opening of visa application centres from September 16 to 30. During this time, a reduced service fee of R82 per application will be payable. This is in addition to the cost of a visa, which is 60 euro. As of October 1, the application centres will officially open. Applications must be made online at https://crm.visa-germany.co.za/index.html, when an appointment will be scheduled. Payments are to be made online at the time of application. Biometric fingerprints will be taken at the relevant Intergate. Only 90-day business and leisure visas can be applied for at the Intergate Visalink offices. - TNW
