New benefit event just added to Dans schedule. The painting was auctioned off for $6,000 which will benefit the Tunnels to Towers Foundation. More than 220 Broken Sound Club members and their invited guests teed-off at the Golf Fore Americas Bravest Tournament hosted by the Club to benefit two organizations: the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation in partnership with the Gary Sinese Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project that serve U.S. armed forces veterans seriously wounded while serving our country in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. To support the tournament and recognize Broken Sound Clubs commitment to supporting U.S. military, Broken Sound was chosen as home to the Palm Beach County debut of the new Tunnel to Towers Mobile Never Forget Exhibit that is currently touring the U.S. The tournament awards luncheon program featured Broken Sound Clubs Golf Fore Americas Bravest Tournament Co-founders Sal Caragliano and his wife Wendy; Tunnel to Towers Foundation Chairman Frank Siller; wounded decorated U.S. Marine Corporal Todd Love; music by Americas Tenor (one of New Yorks Finest) Danny Rodriguez, known as the The Singing Policeman in his former work with the New York City Police Department, due to his role as one of the departments designated National Anthem singers. In the aftermath of the September 11 terrorist attacks, he received widespread attention with his rendition of God Bless America, which he sang at memorial events and on television.
