New bridge for Talparo Talparo residents now have a new bridge to drive and walk along, after work was completed in October to rebuild an old one. MP for the area, Jairam Seemungal says the residents have been waiting for this bridge for 100 years. Residents can now drive with ease of mind, as the bridge that connects Talparo to Mundo Nuevo has been rebuilt. It was completed in October after it was started last February. Works Minister Suruj Rambachan reported that it cost 7.3 million dollars with no cost overruns. MP for Talparo/ La Horquetta, Jairam Seemungal, says Talparo has improved a lot under his care. Mr. Seemungal reminded that this year 2015, is an election year and hinted who constituents should vote for.
