New buses arrive for MISD fleet (Oct. 20, 2014) -- Marshall ISD has added new buses to its fleet, as the new vehicles approved for purchase by the MISD Board of Trustees last month arrived last week. MISD Transportation Supervisor Leon Fisher said the new buses -- two general school buses, a bus for Special Education, and a 14-passenger mini-bus -- should be completely outfitted and ready to join the districts fleet sometime this week. The new buses are the first bus purchases in MISD since 2010. Currently, the district runs 41 regular bus routes and serves students for daily transportation needs, in- and out-of-town trips and the after-school ACE program.
