New dates are set for upcoming Taste & Learn events at Ferraros Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar. Mark your calendars for the following dates: May 31, 2014 June 28, 2014 July 26, 2014 At each event, guests learn characteristics of the grapes, as well as how the climate, terrain and winemaking process affect the resulting vintage. In addition, guests will discover interesting facts about the winemaker and how to identify the qualities each wine possesses that enable it to pair with the featured cuisine. Each wine will be accompanied by a small-bite pairing prepared by Executive Chef Mimmo Ferraro. Owner Gino Ferraro and a representative from the winemaker will discuss the origin, contents and wine-making process of each vintage, while Chef Mimmo will provide details about each of the food pairings he prepared to complement them.
