New gay TV show Looking reveals first-look trailer In what is set to be the next TV screen darling of the LGBTI community, Looking will star Jonathan Groff in the drama-comedy about gay friends looking for love 11 November 2013 | By Joe Morgan The first trailer for new HBO series Looking has been revealed. While we have no idea about the quality of the show, we have to say we’re getting very excited. With a good display of handsomeness and acting skills, it has the ingredients to live up to its name of being the gay version of Girls. Looking will be a half-hour drama-comedy about the lives of a group of gay men living in San Francisco. Created by Michael Lannen, it will center on a group of gay guys played by Jonathan Groff, Frankie J Alvarez and Murray Bartlett. Gay British actor Russell Tovey is also set to have a starring role. The eight-episode series is set to air on 14 January. Check out the trailer below:
