New lounge for BA pax British Airways will open a refurbished lounge at Cape Town International Airport later this year. As a result, the airline’s lounge at the airport is currently closed but a temporary facility offering drinks and snacks is available and can be reached by following the clearly marked signage once customers have passed through immigration. The new lounge will reflect the style and elegance of the airline’s Galleries Lounges at London Heathrow Terminal 5 and will offer customers a reception and a spacious area with seating and enhanced menus and locally sourced wine. The lounge will also feature art from local artists.
