New music from KARINA! Late last year, Leonardo Panço (hailing from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil) approached me to contribute guest vocals on his debut solo punk record; Panço has been in bands since 1988, his band Jason (of which he played in for 14 years - think of a Brazillian Mindsnare) toured with The Nation Blue all over Brazil. 4 albums, 3 European tours, 500 shows, 3 albums in Europe, singles in 40 compilations worldwide, 3 books; he is pretty damn prolific and makes me feel like I should put my beer down and not give up so soon on guitar. For ‘Tempos’, Panço has enlisted a selection of vocalists from all over Brazil with Marcelo Gomão and Panço responsible for the guitars (so many good riffs).
