New piece about the situation in Ukraine from an anarchist in Kiev. This piece is supposed to be a response to the Crimethinc. piece about the situation there, which I will also post below. I recommend reading the Crimethinc. one first; it is short. The English is not so great but its what we have, I suppose. Contains critiques of Russian imperialism and on portrayals of the Maidan protests as being controlled by fascism. This piece seeks to briefly clarify that the Maidan protests were not controlled by fascists at all, just that they were what the media reported on. They claim that the protests were very interesting for anarchists and the plaza was organized horizontally, except for the fascist groups had internal hierarchies.
